In late April, Techport Thirteen software partner Westbury announced the latest release of its Westbury SMI Suite. The new SMI Suite delivers an advanced enterprise reporting platform for IT Service Management applications, enabling users to address the entire Business Intelligence flow with self-service reporting.
SMI Suite is powered by SAP Business Objects 4 and includes a self-service reporting library with more than 70 startup reports and dashboards, allowing valuable and immediate insight into the ITSM environment. The new offerings enable data retrieval from any data source in the enterprise environment providing a comprehensive view of business processes. The new Suite comes with pre-configured solutions for common service management applications, including HP Service Manager and Asset Manager and BMC Remedy. More solutions will be added to the platform in the coming months.
“Our new architecture has been designed to automate the Business Intelligence infrastructure with Users’ reporting requirements as its focal point” says Jane Johnson CEO of Westbury. “Our Customers made significant investments in their service management solutions, but they still couldn’t get at the data with a meaningful reporting solution, which means Westbury’s unique software solutions are providing affordable relief and improvement in their day to day operations.”
In other Westbury news:
Westbury announced the availability of SMI for HP Project and Portfolio Management (SMI PPM) via its June 2013 special edition e-newsletter.
Part of SMI Suite, SMI PPM is the self-service reporting solution that allows Project Management Offices to gain insight, improve processes and impress their stakeholders. The solution has been developed in close cooperation with one of our clients, a global professional services firm.
